Welcome to the Grand Oceania Tour of 2006

On this site we will, whenever we have time, publish travelnotes and images from our trip to the calm waters surrounding a multitude of Pacific islands. We will try to give you the in-depth insight of the places and, at least, try to bring accross some of the overwhelming impressions, feelings and whatnot that we surely will encounter along the way. Good reading? Probably not, but still worth the effort!

Our trip-plans so far. Starting off from Oslo, the first flight takes me to Bangkok, Thailand were I will spend my first night abroad. The following day I will take a direct fligt to DaNang, Vietnam where I will link up with my traveling companion, Åsbjørn Skaaland, who also happens to be my father. From there on we set out to conquer the Pacific in every concievable way (or at least as far as possible within the six weeks available). I will try to take a lot of photos along the way, and hopefully I can post some of them on these pages. So stay tuned and post a comment while you wait :-)
