Day one, Bangkok

Ten hours on the aircraft next to a naive dane (images added)

He (probably 35 - 39 years old) worked on the danish rail roads and this was his first time - ever - on an airplane. I asked him why he had chosen to take a ten hour trans continental flight as his maiden voyage, and he replyed that he never had a reason to go before. The target was the MeKong river north in Thailand because he had some friends there who he would meet up with. After helping him with his immigration papers I left him to his own business, and started my vacation.I had a days stopover in bangkok due to the low frequencies of flights to Da Nang, Vietnam, where I was headed. I guess I spent the time well getting lost in Bangkok. It had changed drastically since my last visit about ten years ago. I guess they build a new skyscraper each year or so. And the street life is so intens it almost takes ones breath away. It took me the whole day and a lot of memories to find my way back to the makeshift hotel that I had accuried at the airport. At five o clock I headed back to the airport for my Da Nang flight.
