Day tvelve to fourteen. Guam, The marianas (USA)

Oops, now I'm in their systems. Being a part of the US of A, a full biometric scan was felt needed by BigBrother. We felt raped of our freedom of anonymity.

Guam, you can almost hear the US Army ring to it. Since we drove around the whole island we had no choise but to bump into their presence. Army bases closed off huge parts of the territory. Luckily there actually were places where one could roam around freely (being careful not to trespass, of course!!!). And since the economy was good, the standard was better and the people were happy. Both in the south and the north we found amazing beaches. We spent most of the second day at a great one near a turtle egglaying habitat in the north, just to have our white skins scourched a little more. Peeling of skin, ain't all that bad a habbit, considering the state of our home land this time of year.

Out drinking I met the army mentality again when I bumped into a bunch of grunts who were out celebrating one of their birthdays. They held every preconseption I ever had (growing up in front of a TV and all) like real armyboys should. Howling, grunting and scruming at every concievable opertunity, and drinking their Buds as manly as manly can be, high albows, quick shots, and drying off their lips with just about the whole length of their arms. Other than that they were great guys.
